As the GOLDENEYE 20 year is about to be in the past, I would like to thank everyone involved in making this an enjoyable year for the Bond community everywhere.
The GoldenEye Dossier, reaching its five years online, has always operated under very low budget and very far from the United Kingdom or America, therefore a big 20 anniversary event or re-screening wouldn't have been possible for us. Still, many Bond fans of all ages and all nationalities were there with their virtual presence, knowledge, artistic creations and contributions, as well as magazine articles that made our site and the GOLDENEYE 20 celebrations to be spread around the world.
I would like to give my deepest thank you to Laurent Perriot from Club James Bond France for providing rare shots from the Monaco set as well as joining our celebrations in tandem with us. Same goes to Austin Skinner for his contribution at the Trevelyan's Mainframe section -which will continue in the following years- and to Yannick Zenhäusern for homaging our beloved movie with his audio creations, and our long time friend Pat Carbajal for his paintings, not forgetting Jeff Marshall's beautiful artistic job too.
Many thanks also to Anders Frejdh from From Sweden With Love who kindly published one of my articles and let our site to spread, Benjamin Lind from The Bond Bulletin, Marcos Kontze from James Bond Brasil and our non-Bond carioca ally Tina Medeiros from Pipoca Gigante. To James Murphy from MovieViral.com, Bill Koenig from The Spy Command and the popular MI6-HQ site that published two of my GOLDENEYE articles on their site and one on their magazine MI6 Confidential back in August. I also thank the Eva Green Web staff for letting our celebrations to be known around their fandom (after all, CASINO ROYALE and GOLDENEYE share the same director and crew!).
A special mention is made to all the cast and crew involved in the movie that happily replied to our posts and agreed to be interviewed or consulted, namely Izabella Scorupco, Derek Lyons, Pavel Douglas, photographer John Stoddart, composer John Altman, James Bond Theme arrangers Starr Parodi & Jeff Fair, main title designer Daniel Kleinman, Martin Campbell's wife Sol and screenwriter Bruce Feirstein, who helped us to check out some of the facts found in our research.
To all of you, here goes my big "thank you" and all the best wishes for 2016.
Nicolás Suszczyk
Editor.
